There are many ways to insert links in a Zyro website, including from headings/text, images, buttons, and social media links.

Add a link from a heading or text

Once the heading or text you want to link from is selected, you should:

  1. Click Edit text.
  2. Highlight the text you want to link from. This is probably all of a heading, but might just be a couple of words too.
  3. Click the link symbol (two interlinked chain links, see screenshot below).
  4. Enter the target URL in the text box.
  5. Toggle the Open in new tab switch if you want the link to open in a new tab. This is recommended for external links to other sites, but not if the link is to your own website.
  6. Click Save.

Add a link from an image

Once the image you want to link from is selected, you should:

  1. Click Change image.
  2. Click on the Action tab.
  3. Select Add click action.
  4. Make sure URL is selected.
  5. Enter the target URL in the text box.
  6. Toggle the Open in new tab switch if you want the link to open in a new tab. This is recommended for external links to other sites, but not if the link is to your own website.
  7. Close the edit popup to save all changes.

Add a link from a button

Once the button you want to link from is selected, you should:

  1. Click Edit button.
  2. Click on the General tab.
  3. Select URL.
  4. Enter the target URL in the text box.
  5. Toggle the Open in new tab switch if you want the link to open in a new tab. This is recommended for external links to other sites, but not if the link is to your own website.
  6. Close the edit popup to save changes.

Add social media links

  1. Click Add element, then drag and drop Social icons onto your page.
  2. Select the element, then click Edit social icons.
  3. Click the edit symbol next to the icon you want to change, and select Edit.
  4. Enter the target URL in the text box, then hit the tick symbol.
  5. Close the edit popup to save changes.
