When buying a domain name, you usually buy the rights to use it for a certain amount of time.

Most domains are bought for one year at a time, but domain registrars might offer discounts if you register your new domain for longer.

If you want to cancel your domain, you can do it in two ways:

  1. Don't renew the domain and let it expire - learn more about the domain life cycle here

  2. Submit a written cancelation request to your domain registrar (if you need to cancel it ASAP)

If you have recently bought a domain through Zyro and want to cancel it, you have 96 hours to get in touch with the Customer Success team. If you cancel your domain within 96 hours after the registration, you will be fully refunded.

Note: Keep in mind that some TLDs, mostly country-code TLDs, e.g. .eu, .ru, .fr, etc. are not refundable as per our Refund Policy.

If you want to cancel your domain after the initial period of 96 hours, you won't be eligible for a refund.
