PayPal is one of the default payment systems in your Zyro store.

To use PayPal in your store, you need a Business PayPal account. Most functions and tools provided by PayPal for business owners are only available to business accounts.

Setting up PayPal

1. In your Online Store settings, go to Payment settings.

2. Under Add new payment methods section, add your PayPal account email in the field and click on Enable PayPal.

Local payment options

PayPal automatically enables additional, local payment options in your store, meaning that your customers can choose a payment option they're used to.

Currently, these local payment options are available:

  • Venmo (for the USA, only on mobile)

  • iDEAL (for the Netherlands)

  • Bancontact (for Belgium)

  • MyBank (for Italy)

  • Giropay and SEPA Direct Debit (for Germany)

  • EPS (for Australia)

Note: Regardless of how the customer chooses to pay (PayPal or PayPal-supported local payment methods), PayPal will send the funds to your PayPal account. This means that you can manage your transactions as usual.

Express checkout with PayPal

1. In your Online Store settings, go to Payment settings.

2. Select PayPal and click on Settings.

3. Under the Advanced settings section, make sure the Enable PayPal checkout on the cart page is enabled.
