For your website to appear online:

1. Your website template needs to be connected to a Zyro plan and domain name – learn how 💡

2. Your domain needs to be connected to Zyro servers – read below to find out more.

Zyro website template + Zyro plan + Domain = Your website

If you have purchased and registered your domain at Zyro, it is connected to our servers by default. It means that once you connect your Zyro domain to your Zyro website, simply give it some time and your website will get online within 24 hours!

If your domain is not registered at Zyro, you will simply be asked to connect your domain to our servers manually. It's really easy and there are several ways to do it:

If you need any help with connecting your domain to Zyro, get in touch with us!

Connecting your domain to Zyro via nameservers

1. Log in to the website where you purchased your domain name.

2. Find your domain's nameserver settings.

3. Delete all current nameservers and insert Zyro nameservers: dns1.zyro.com

and dns2.zyro.com.

4. Save the changes and give your domain some time. Your website will appear online within 24 hours.

Note: Nameservers always indicate where your domain's DNS zone is managed from. Once you point your domain to Zyro via nameservers, you can manage your domain's DNS zone on the Domains page in your Zyro dashboard.

P.S. If you're asked to specify IPs for the nameservers, use the following:

For dns1.zyro.com: 162.159.26.94 (IPv4) or 2400:cb00:2049:1::a29f:1a5e (IPv6)

For dns2.zyro.com: 162.159.27.149 (IPv4) or 2400:cb00:2049:1::a29f:1b95 (IPv6)

Insert the IP addresses only if required by your domain provider. In most cases, the nameservers are enough. Also, make sure that the DNSSEC configuration for your domain is disabled.

Connecting your domain with Zyro via CNAME records

If you prefer to manage your domain at your current domain provider, you can add two specific CNAME records to your domain's DNS zone. They will connect your domain to Zyro.

1. Log in to the website where you purchased your domain name.

2. Find your domain's DNS management zone.

3. Delete all A and AAAA type records for @ (if there are any).

4. Add two CNAME type records:

HOST: @

POINTS TO: connect.zyrosite.com

TTL: select any (or leave the default value)

HOST: www

POINTS TO: connect.zyrosite.com

TTL: select any (or leave the default value)

Example:

P.S. There can be many other DNS records, but there must be only one @ and only one www record (see example above). Also, make sure that the DNSSEC configuration for your domain is disabled.

Save the changes and give your domain some time. Your website will appear online within 24 hours. If anything concerns you, get in touch with us!

Note: If your domain provider does not allow creating a CNAME record for @, point your domain to Zyro by changing its nameservers or using Cloudflare.
