Register a domain at Zyro

1. From your Zyro account, go to the Domains page and click on the Get a domain button. If you don't have a Zyro account yet, you can search for a domain here.

2. Search for the domain you want to register, pick the desired TLD (.com, .net, .online, and so on) and pay for your order.

Note: Insert the domain in domain.tld format, e.g., domain.net (don't use www or http).

3. Once you finish registering your domain, you need to verify your contact details. You can do so by clicking the link sent to your email address in the confirmation email. If you can't find the email, make sure to check your spam/junk inboxes.

4. Verify your contact information within 15 days after domain registration, otherwise, your domain will be suspended. If you need any help verifying your contact information, get in touch with us!

Connect a domain to a website

1. First, make sure that your website template is connected to a Zyro plan.

2. On the Websites page, click Manage to open the settings.

3. Open the Domain tab, click Connect your own domain, insert your domain name and click Continue.

Finally, click Done and give your domain a few hours to propagate worldwide.

Change domain nameservers

1. From your Zyro account, go to the Domains page and click Manage domain.

2. Expand the Nameservers section and select the Use custom nameservers option.

3. Delete the current nameservers and insert the new ones.

4. Click Save changes and give your domain a few hours to propagate worldwide.

Keep in mind that DNS changes normally take up to 48 hours to propagate among all servers worldwide. Until these changes have been completely propagated, your website may not be fully functional.

Update your contact information

After you've registered your domain, you can update the contact information.

1. From your Zyro account, go to Domains and click Manage domain.

2. Expand the Contact information section and edit it accordingly. Don't forget to save the changes when you're done.

Notes:

  • Once you change the domain owner details, you will receive a verification email that asks to approve the changes. If you are changing the email address, the email will be sent to both addresses.

  • It might take up to 24 hours for the updated details to be visible on WHOIS.

  • Some TLDs do not allow editing certain fields or contact details. In such cases, make sure to contact our Customer Success team 😊
