At Zyro, you can verify your domain's ownership in two ways:

  1. By creating a TXT record in your domain's DNS zone

  2. By adding an HTML meta tag to your website's code

Create a TXT record in your domain's DNS zone

This option at Google Search Console (GSC) is called “Verify domain ownership via DNS record” (or similarly).

1. At GSC, copy the value for a TXT record:

2. In your Zyro account, go to the Domains page and click Manage domain.

3. Scroll down to find and expand the DNS records section. Click Add record and insert the required data:

  • Type: TXT

  • Name: @

  • Content: insert the value you copied at GSC

  • TTL: leave the default value – 3600 (1hr)

4. Save the changes.

5. Go back to GSC and click Verify.

Add an HTML meta tag to your website's code

1. At Google Search Console, copy the value for an HTML tag:

2. In your Zyro account, open your website's integrations settings and insert the HTML code in the Custom code field.

3. Save the changes and update your website.

4. Go back to the Google Search Console and click Verify.
