At Zyro, you can verify your domain's ownership in two ways:

  1. Add a TXT record to your domain's DNS zone

  2. Add an HTML meta tag to your website's code

Add a TXT record to your domain's DNS zone

This option at Google Search Console will sound as 'Verify domain ownership via DNS record' (or similarly).

1. At Google Search Console, copy the value for a TXT record.

2. At your Zyro account, go to the My domains page and click Manage domain.

3. Scroll down to find and expand the DNS records section.

4. Click Add record and insert the required data:

  • Type: TXT.

  • Name: @.

  • Content: Insert the value provided by Google Search Console

  • TTL: Leave the default value - 3600 (1hr)

5. Save changes.

6. Go back to the Google Search Console and click Verify. You will see this, once verified:

Add an HTML meta tag to your website's code

This option at Google Search Console will sound as 'Verify domain ownership via DNS record' (or similarly).

1. At Google Search Console, copy the value for an HTML tag.

2. At your Zyro account, open your website's settings and go to the Integrations section.

3. Insert the given verification code in the Custom code field.
Note: You can paste there as many codes as you need, simply paste one below another (don't paste a code in the middle of another code).

4. Save the changes and update your website.

5. Go back to the Google Search Console and click Verify.
