If your domain works perfectly as domain.com
, but doesn't work as www.domain.com
, firstly check how your domain is pointed to Zyro servers:
Via nameservers:
dns1.zyro.com
&dns2.zyro.com
Via CNAME records:
connect.zyrosite.com
If your domain is pointed to Zyro via nameservers
If your domain is pointed to Zyro via nameservers, your domain's DNS zone is also managed at Zyro.
Access your domain's DNS zone, and look for CNAME, A, and AAAA types of records:
1. Is there a www
CNAME record?
If yes – check further
If no – create this CNAME record:
Name:
www
Target:
connect.zyrosite.com
TTL:
auto/default
2. Are there any A and/or AAAA records for your root domain
(i.e., for your-actual-domain.tld
) that point to any specific IP address?
If yes – delete all A and/or AAAA records that are created for your root domain (i.e., for your-actual-domain.tld
):
After making any changes, give the DNS zone to update in all servers worldwide: DNS propagation may take up to 24 hours.
If your domain is pointed to Zyro via CNAME records
If your domain is pointed to Zyro via CNAME records, your domain's DNS zone is not managed at Zyro. Domain nameservers always indicate where the DNS zone is managed from. For example, if your domain nameservers point to Hostinger, the DNS zone is managed from Hostinger.
